Sunflower Field: Laguna de Sánchez's Best-Kept Secret
There are many things that few people expected to find in Nuevo León. Among them are El Pozo del Gavilán, a cenote in Galeana; El Chipitín, a spectacular canyon with waterfalls and turquoise pools; and, of course, this attraction we’re about to introduce to you.

What you see here is the sunflower field in Laguna de Sánchez, a community in the Magical Town of Santiago. It’s located high up in the mountains, and to get there you have to pass through some very beautiful places, full of trees and streams.
Even though it went viral last year, it’s still not very crowded, so you can go there and stroll among the sunflowers without any trouble. It only costs $25 per person, and you can take your sunflower home as a souvenir. If you’re looking for a spot to take an amazing photo, this is definitely the place.

If you'd like to know how to get there, here's the location on Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/ivwW8LFbVzumR1SX8. We recommend arriving early to catch the best light and make the most of your day exploring Santiago.
