French Police is a Chicago-based post-punk band with Mexican roots, formed by brothers Brian and Jesse Flores and José Vega. Their sound is characterized by lyrics in English and Spanish, rhythms influenced by dark wave and gothic music, and dark vocals. Although their songs sometimes lean toward simplicity, the band has achieved commercial success thanks to their nostalgic style and blend of alternative genres.
