Silvia Siu and Carmen Parroquín are a Mexican singer-songwriter duo from Veracruz, pioneers of “Artisan Pop.” Known for their honest, direct, and autobiographical style, they joined forces in 2009 in Xalapa, distinguishing themselves through their songwriting, use of acoustic instruments, and independent production, with songs centered on love and introspection.
