San Nicolas de Tolentino Church

It is located in San Nicolas de los Garza, Nuevo Leon. A part of the original construction was demolished to build a new one in the XX century. This building is considered Architectural Heritage of Nuevo Leon and it is a good example of Franciscan architecture. The construction of the chapel began in 1836 and was completed in 1857. As a curious fact, the five bells of the chapel remained silent for 36 years after the place was sacked in November 1914 during the Mexican Revolution by the Carrancistas.
