These caves remained hidden for thousands of years, submerged millions of years under the sea, hence the marine fossils on their walls. In 1843, they were discovered by the priest Juan Antonio Sobrevilla and now they are suitable for hiking with a tour guide. You can choose a long road that lasts 2 hours, or a shorter one of 45 minutes. You will be able to admire both amazing stalactites and stalagmites whatever your choice is.
