Apodaca
The name Apodaca comes from Dr. Salvador, Obispo from the City of Linares, who was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco on December 25, 1769. He studied to be a priest, and when he was named Bishop of Linares he moved to Monterrey on January 11, 1844. Apodaca is located within the metropolitan area, 19 km north from the city of Monterrey, on the coordinates 25º47′ latitude north and 100º11′ longitude west, 405 MASL. It borders on the north with General Zuazua; on the south with Guadalupe; east with Pesqueria, and west with San Nicolas de los Garza.
