The Virgin's Cave
It is home to small animals; clinging to the rocky outcrops are milkweed plants, Victoria agaves (an endangered species), and the occasional lizard hiding among the rocky crevices. Today, this natural wonder retains the power of the forces that shaped it and invites all adventurous souls who wish to leave the noise of the city behind in search of a different kind of day.

Nido de los Aguiluchos (with a specialized guide)
This hike will take your breath away: it involves walking over rocks and along trails, a bit of climbing, and a few rappels. You’ll reach one of the highest peaks in La Huasteca, at an elevation of 120 meters, where you can gaze out over the city of Monterrey on one side and take in the peaks and towering cliffs in all their splendor on the other.

Little Guitars
It lies nestled within the canyon walls; it is a magical place where the Huichol people once came to hold their ceremonies. It’s an ideal spot to reach on foot, by bike, or by car—perfect for enjoying the silence. You can also camp here without any trouble. If you go with a specialized guide, you can set up a zip line between two of the canyon walls.
