Few locals in Monterrey haven’t heard of Tacos el Compadre, but here they call it “Tacos del Muerto” because it’s right next to a cemetery. But don’t be fooled—the only thing you have to fear here is hunger. A combination of great food, great service, and great sauces has made this place a favorite among the people of Nuevo León. It’s no wonder this place earned a mention in the Michelin Guide.
