Based in Seoul, South Korea, Wave to Earth is a three-piece band consisting of singer-songwriter Daniel Kim, drummer Dong Kyu Shin, and bassist John Cha. Wave to Earth produces indie pop with a lo-fi sound rooted in jazz drumming, creating a unique sense of the seasons and a dreamlike atmosphere in their music. With the motto “Everything done by ourselves,” the band handles recording, mixing, and mastering in-house, as well as overseeing artistic aspects such as album design, videos, and fashion.
